we will be able to once the market is no longer NPC seeded. Nobody is manufacturing anything right now, so the economy isn't real. It's more like a black hole you put your ISK into. When the game merges with EVE on Serenity, I'm sure we will start to see a more in depth economy, rather than buy, and be stuck with it. But without manufacturing, there is no reason to sell your items, as it wouldn't be another player buying them, it would just be like pulling some ISK back out of the black hole. |

edit: touched up some wording as to make more clear
I doubt people will sell AUR items for ISK. In fact, I doubt it will be allowed. The reason people sell PLEX in EVE, is because everything in EVE is purchased with ISK, only things that had no real effect on the gameplay are purchased with AUR. In Dust, AUR purchases items with better stats. So there would be no reason to sell AUR items, as you couldn't get something better with ISK. |

It all depends on if DUSTbunnies will be able to buy PLEX. If not, you bet your ass people will be selling aurum items for isk.
What would be the point? I doubt people would sell AUR items... unless the MCC's keep that 120,000,000 ISK price tag they had in the 2011 E3 video |
